Russian Spy Dies. May Have Been Poisoned.

A Russian Spy Died yesterday and left a bold accusation behind. I just heard it earlier today, that the Russian spy died and left a letter in which he accused the Russian Government and Vladimir Putin for his death. He said he was poisoned, and according to urine test results, this is probably the case.

Alexander Litvinenko was a Russian ex-spy. Former KGB, and very staunch adversary of the current Russian Administration.

Polonium 210 was found in his urine, and according to scientists, the amount needed for death is as little as the tip of a pen. It needs to be inhaled or ingested. This allegedly can only point to the government since specialists in nuclear plants have knowledge of this type of material. Make no mistake, this was very calculated and had to be professionally administered.

It’s everywhere in the news. My only thought when I see this in the news is one — Where is the media coverage when it comes to political killings in The Philippines?

But, then I rebut myself and say. Hey, if people and mainstream media can close their eyes to the killings in Rowanda and other such tragedies, then certainly some alleged political killings in The Philippines probably will not breakthrough into the evening news in the international media.

There’s one main point in each of these two situations. The situation in Russia and the one we face here in The Philippines. The case that the government may be eliminating political adversaries to push forward its own agendas.

The main difference is that this Russian case is getting all types of international media coverage and the killings of opposition leaders and other individuals here in The Philippines is not.

It’s being alleged that The Arroyo government is behind all these killings, yet no international media coverage whatsoever. Eventhough, the killings are more than just one individual.

In both cases, Russia and The Philippines. — No hard evidence.

But, I think the letter of the dead Russian spy says it all.

“You may succeed at silencing one man… but the howl of protest from around the world will reverberate…”

You can’t silence everyone.
