MTV Airs Negative Political Ad Against Barack Obama
MTV just started accepting political ads. And the first political ad that millions of young people will see is a negative attack on Barack Obama—saying he’s “worse than a flip-flopper” and accusing him of no longer being against the war. It’s outrageous.
The Republicans’ strategy is clear: kill the hope that’s brought millions of new young voters out of the woodwork.
But, there’s hope, and here’s an ad that may just run on MTV as well, to fight back against the negative ads being run against Barack Obama.
The youth are with Barack Obama, they might just vote come November in historical numbers. Because they believe in CHANGE. They believe in HOPE.

how I hope that we’ll have the same scenario here in the Philippines where most of the young people will also clamor for CHANGE in the government.
magtagumpay nawa tayo.
I’m quite disturbed, though, of Obama’s choice of Biden as his running mate. Biden doesn’t really represent the change Obama wants to see in America. And it highlights, I think, Obama’s inexperience. I wonder, would Obama call the shots in the White House or would Biden overwhelm Obama with his credentials and run the White House, the way Cheney did? Just wondering.
But yeah, we need an Obama here in the Philippines.
When Obama announced his support for the FISA bill (the domestic spy legislation that legalizes warrantless phone taps of ordinary Americans), he showed his true colors. Obama is no different. It is just a different branding of the same policies. Sorry, but Obama is just another politician, and there are plenty of those everywhere.
