IT’S OFFICIAL! DEMOCRATS TAKE SENATE, HOUSE OF REP., AND GOVERNORSHIPS

After taking time for counting of ballots in Virginia, the final senate seat for a democratic party takeover of the Senate in the United States has finally pushed through. And it is official, the democrats are now in power. They have majority in the Senate, The House of Representatives, and have also a majority of governors. As I stated in a previous article, Bush is humbled, the people have decided, and now changes will most likely take place. The most important change is probably going to be a new direction in Iraq.

Nancy Pelosi will most likely be the new Speaker of the House, the first female speaker, and now the third most powerful individual of The United States.

Again, as I said, with a democratic takeover, The Philippines probably won’t feel any effects of this, but we may see a different focus in terms of our vision and partnership with The U.S. in trade, terrorism, and economy. Usually no real effects are felt until a new seatng President and a new ambassador actually takes over.
