Weapons of Mass Deception

This is one of the best documentaries I have encountered so far with regards to the lead up to the Iraq war and The Bush offensive on media and the Public Relations spin that went on overdrive the months before the Iraq invasion. It is a consensus now, that the media during that time, failed the entire world. The following video puts it all in perspective, and how the mainstream media got too cozy with The Bush Administration and failed to ask the proper questions.

In a government I have always believed that media is the other “check and balance”. The video is quite long, around 1 hour and 38 minutes, so I hope you have the time, because it will give you some perspective on the lead up to the war.

  1. Secret documents known today as The Downing Street Memos reveal that Bush and Blair plotted to impose an illegal war on a half-suspecting world; they manipulated intelligence in order to support that illegal invasion.

Those two are candidates for the war crimes tribunal just as Rumsfeld today is. Bush’s former Defence secretary cannot even step into Europe – he’d be handcuffed as soon as he gets off a plane and brought to court to face charges of crimes against humanity.

  2. Ahhh, the Downing Street memos, I’m very much aware of those memos..

The reason, I’m disappointed as to how media conducted itself during those days, is that they didn’t stand up to Administration…

It was hand fed the information… The information that The Bush Administration used to corroborate its own stories, were the same stories that they planted into mainstream media..

For example, The Bush Administration would cite The New York Times as having a story that corroborated that Iraq had been trying to acquire weapons of mass destruction..

But these stories, would later turn out to have come from The Bush Administration itself..

And the Bush Administration not only did this with media, but with countries as well.. And then used the information they gave to France or maybe England as the means by which their own stories would be corroborated…

And in the end, their argument is that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and look, see, even the media, and these other countries have that same information..

WELL OF COURSE THEY HAVE THE SAME INFORMATION… BECAUSE THE U.S. GAVE THEM THAT INFORMATION!!!

  3. Hi,

    look up http://wtc7.net/index.html

The US govt destroyed the WTC towers using pre planted explosives then blamed Arabs to start the war in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Don’t try to debate me, just look for the facts yourself. There is a lot of misinformation, so beware of claims of no airplane or space beams.

  4. @Gus – that is very interesting. It really looks like everything was properly planned.
