  • UN blames military for political slays, this is actually good news. The word is spreading and slowly spreading into mainstream media, not exactly in The Philippines, but in the rest of the world. I actually heard news about the statement, in public radio, here in The U.S., so this is definitely being taken up into international mainstream media.
  • Marcos in Retrospect. Manuel takes up Marcos this week, and looks into mainstream media and other blogs as to their viewpoints on the current issues regarding the elections.
  • Opposition may not get 5th copy of election return–Comelec. According to the article, “MANILA, Philippines — The political opposition might lose its right to have a copy of the election returns during the canvassing in the May elections if it cannot establish its status as the dominant minority party, Commission on Elections Chairman Benjamin Abalos Sr. said Wednesday.” My response is just one word, when it’s news about Abalos. IDIOT.
  • Toots: HOR approves house bill
  • Palace to release MELO Report to public. I guess, they finally had enough pressure put on them. Poorly made excuses by Arroyo, has made her look as if she has something to hide.
  • J. Angelo has a simple idea for this elections season. Let the candidates come to the blogger, and let the blogger cover the candidates both during and after the election, in a fair, honest, and transparent way.

  1. The COMELEC is getting more stupid by the day. Abalos is a sorry excuse for that position. It’s a very important position, and one that shouldn’t lend itself to politicking
