Manny Pacquiao, Typhoon Frank, And A True Champion
In the recent Manny Pacquiao win over his opponent Diaz, it wasn’t Manny’s win that piqued my interest, but it was his statement that he would do his best to help the victims of the Typhoon. In a night that should have been all about him, Manny proved to us once again, why he is a champion, even without winning a fight.
Yes, I took offense when he started to walk in political circles, and I take offense when politicians use him, he truly has a kind heart, and I thank him for offering his help.
I don’t care much for the detail of the fight, I know he won, but that’s it. I know he had another solid performance, and I expected that. What I didn’t expect was that he would take the time to acknowledge the victims of Typhoon Frank, this little gesture truly means a lot, it really does.
Thanks Manny, my appreciation goes out to our champion, inside and out of the ring.

It’s been quite a few weeks now after typhoon Frank. Quick, name a name (other than the dolphin) who the media had written about as a hero of bravery and compassion.
