If I were to ever cry in my life, I think this is one of those moments when I should have cried (but I didn’t). I am such a proud Filipino, and to see, probably one of the greatest fighters in my lifetime.. the pride of the Philippines, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao totally beat up on “El Terrible” Morales — made me want to shout from the top of my lungs — “That’s my Kababayan”!!!

Manny has given Philippines all he has and now we can say he is one of the top boxers in the world (although, we have said that all along).A great 3 round boxing match against Morales, in which Pacquiao won and even sent Morales to the canvass 3 times. He finally KO’d Morales at the 2:57 mark in the 3rd round.

Manny wouldn’t be denied this time, after remarks that Morales made saying that Pacquiao’s punches didn’t faze him during their second match.

As the HBO announcer said after the match, Manny managed to make 51 of his 71 power shots in the 3rd round. His overall percentage of punches landed versus thrown was over 51% while Morales’ was somewhere in the 20%.

Last Sunday (11/19/06) was truly a great day in boxing and a great day in The Philippines. Thank you Manny for such a wonderful run. We now wait for Barrera, even if you have beaten him already.
