U.S. – End The Political Killings

I think the headline says it all, but is it only the U.S? I think by now the entire world is clamoring the same sentiment on this issue. The U.S. Senate’s committee on foreign relations is aware of this situation, most other countries’ ambassadors are aware of this, I am certain The U.S. is not the only country in the free world that is calling for an end to these political killings.

MANILA, Philippines — The United States Monday expressed concern over the spate of extrajudicial killings in the Philippines and called for the prosecution of those involved.

US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney made the call as President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, whose administration has come under fire over the killings, declared her resolve to stop the spate of murders of political activists and journalists.(via)

  1. The US cannot really help. In fact I wouldnt want them to help. I think we should do something about it. It will just take time. Eventually people will get fed up and start fighting back.
