well…as far as the monologue goes..!! it realy states there that we are a hardworking people..!! eventhough we are doing an immoral things, we accept it coz we know that we already sacrifice AND we alreay swallow our PRIDE..!! we just ignore all the wordz that they might spoken against in your life..!!

but the monologue realy states on how the people now in this country realy is.. specifically for the adolescenes..!! as what we read in the monologue, the childrens were the one who fought a costumer to their mother inable for thier satisfaction..!! they dont even know what is the feeling of their mother after they done that..!! they are acting so “PRETENTIOUS”…!! gosh..!!

This article is indeed great. It may show the rudeness of Filipinos but it is really true. This is a reflection of who we are right now and what we are doing to our motherland. It is true that because of the 3 invaders, we forgot where we came from and the “IDENTITY” we used to have. But still, we can’t blame them for all the things happening in this country for we have choice to forget and not to forget. Hope that all Filipinos will realize that Philippines was blessed with so much treasure. In fact, with the resources around us, we could feed the whole world, it just takes proper knowledge on handling them. We don’t have to depend on other countries because when it comes to resources, we do have lots of them. Philippines is such a great land with great hopes and dreams. What we need is an EYE and a SOUL.
I love my country, Philippines and I’m proud to say that I’m not one of those Filipinos who tries to disguise their true identity by using whitening lotions and pills. May this article be an inspiration to all Filipinos to strive hard and not to depend on other countries.
