Join me, won’t you?

I am an eternal optimist, a constant dreamer, an abundant soul. I live on the challenges of the day, and dwell on the solutions that come my way. I see The Philippines as an ongoing project. Imperfect. With flaws. With numerous problems. But beautiful and worth the constant struggle to lift it out of the mediocrity of its current state.

Won’t you stand beside me in this struggle? Meet our challenges? To have said, we did something, will always be enough for me.

To have done nothing, stood still, kept quiet, and lived our lives separate — that would be a shame.

  2. Hi Nick. You have definitely inspired a lot of people to step up, including me. More power to you!

  3. Thanks for the advent of the Bloggosphere. Now we have a level
playong field with any leader or politician, who have an army
of Public Relation people. And a lot of cash to finance an
advertisewment, self promotion and disinformation campaign.

We will help to inform on any issue that concerns our country and
our fellow Filipionos: politics, social, scientific, technical,
    religious, finance, etc…

We are beaming with hope for the future for a better Philippines.
A well informed voters and citizens will not commit the same
    muistake of electing politician scammers…

  4. Your perpetual optimism suggests hope not yet visualized. I call this a subtle way of describing the ongoing disparity, disorder and corruptions in the Philippines. It’s heartbreaking to know, but what can a man or men do. I see why most chose to turn around and not look back. We read about it but the brain shuts once the paper puts away. When my father was killed, my hopes, beliefs, visions for my country went with him. There are only few people that I know that can turn these situations at least halfway around but most of them are now dead and the ones that are still standing are stealing money from people’s funds as we speak. I wish for once someday we can stop talking about these and instead actually doing something.

We will Blog till our fingers are sore…

  6. Well.. Step out of the comfort zone, it’s going to take more than a sore finger, ideas, complaints to liberate a country. Histories were
not made by people who only contemplates.

  7. It is easy to lose hope when we have seen the worst in life.
However, we have to go on living. If we want to live.

Life storms sometimes come. They are unexpected. We let the
storm pass. Pick up what was left. Rebuild again for a new
life. That is what life is…tomorrow is never guaranteed to
anybody. We work what we have…We better ourselves. We love,
we forgive and we share..the essence of living.

  8. Count me in, Nick. :)

  9. Hey Nick,

There is one question for you.

Is New York City perfect? Because Philippines is not. I do say, i dont care if it is Philippines or any country, territory or state. Nothing could be well perfect. No one would. So for fuckin’ Christ’s sake, stop dreaming pal.

    Go it?
