UNO (United Oppositions) Seeking A Few Good Candidates
While President Arroyo is at the task of trying to pull off a successful ASEAN Summit, the UNO (United Opposition) is already announcing a few of it’s own candidates and making known that their platform is impeachment. As Ernesto Maceda, held a press conference detailing plans of obtaining at least 79 congressional winners for the House of Representative “so that in the next impeachment proceedings, we will have the numbers”.
The top 4 does not need introduction, ping lacson, Teofisto Guingona, Loren Legarda, and Koko Pimental. The 2007 Elections are going to be definitely heated, but hopefully less controversial than the previous election. If fraud is suspected, may God help The Arroyo Administration, because I just don’t think they can handle anymore PR nightmares such as what could happen if they mess around with the elections.
It’s still a few months away, but already the list of the needed 12 slots for The UNO are already being filled up and with a few dozen standing in line, wishing, hoping, that they get asked to the dance…
