Trillanes Smiling and Ready For Challenge
Within just a few hours, Antonio Trillanes IV, will be the newest Senator of the land. So who can blame him, after a long election season mounting a campaign and guarding the votes, we can see a vibrant smile on his face. But even if, that smile is there, it doesn’t mean he won’t conduct the investigations that his platform is based upon. He is supportive of the AFP, but believes that the top brass has been too full of themselves, unwilling to change, and unwilling to investigate.
Trillanes represents the votes of 11 million Filipinos, these are Filipinos who believe in his cause. Hopefully, Senator Trillanes, will be as filled with the passion to enact change three years from now, as today when he will be proclaimed. Let us hope.. let us hope.. That finally, there will be a link to the primary sources of extra-judicial killings. Let us hope, that finally, we will have an AFP that we can trust again.
