Tim Russert, NBC “Meet The Press” Host, Dies of Heart Attack

Tim Russert

(3:55 pm ET) This came in just a few minutes ago, through a friend’s text message. I don’t have all the information right now, but accordingly, this is a shock. I’ve watched “Meet The Press” for years now, and Tim Russert, the moderator, the host, and a head in the politics department over at NBC is someone, everyone is going to miss.

He was only 58, and being so young, this was not to be expected. He collapsed as he was doing voice overs for the show earlier today. For a man that was one of the best political correspondents of our time, I am deeply saddened by his passing.

MSNBC has more on the breaking news.
