The Superdelegate Rush, Primary Season End, and An Obama Win
4:20 pm ET, USA – As early as just a few hours ago, there has been talk abuzz that Hillary Clinton will suspend her campaign for The President of The United States. Tonight will mark the end of the democratic primary season, with both South Dakota and Montana as the last two stops for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
At stake is 31 delegates, not meaningful at all. But what is meaningful is the rush of superdelegates that are going Obama’s way, former President Jimmy Carter and House Majority Whip James Clyburn. Others will soon be making their decision public.
As if today’s political news weren’t enough, John McCain will “unofficially” launch his general campaign tonight, just in time that the democratic primary is ending. This isn’t surprising, by launching his general campaign tonight, he will be taking some of the buzz out of the democratic primary close.
In any case, I think tonight will be an important night. We may see Hillary Clinton concede, or at least make a speech that will lean towards that decision. Obama will “unofficially” be the democratic nominee, and the republican party will now start their Obama bashing on the airwaves as well as through calculated ads in battleground states.
The question on everybody’s mind is, will Barack Obama pick Hillary Clinton as his Vice Presidential running-mate?

good thing to know na si OBama ang panalo. bet ko kasi siya.
