Support Manny - Don’t Vote For Him
Yes, you read the title right. We support Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao so much so, that we are asking you not to vote for him. As you may already know, Manny has decided to foolishly throw his gloves into the political ring and has proceeded in his bid for a congressional seat in the first district of South Cotabato.
Pacman’s opponent, is Darlene Antonino-Custodio, a cutie-pie of a candidate with a few years under her belt, she’s been part of around 50 House Bills, one of which is pretty ironic now that I think about it.

Who knew that bill along with Manny’s numerous other victories would lead to this situation that we have now.
Clearly, Pacquiao’s argument that he is doing good for his fellow citizens of General Santos does not hold water, because if that’s the only reason, then he may as well pack his bags now. To make that assertion over and over again, is like saying that the other candidate doesn’t have that same goal, when clearly Darlene has been dedicated in this endeavor for far longer than our dear Pacman has.
But, the main reason for not wanting Manny to win, is that I truly care for this national inspiration. I get excited when he makes his walk towards the ring at the beginning of the matches, I am thrilled at his many jabs and his powerful hooks. My heart pounds at every hit that he incurs, and elated at every knockout he scores.
The ring is where he belongs, this political run is nothing more than the Arroyo Administration’s attempt to take advantage of this boxing hero of ours.
So, support Manny. Root for this national inspiration of ours. And this coming May, Vote for Darlene Custodio.

I would’ve loved Manny to run for Congress. Pacquiao is someone who could dislodge that district’s political dynasty. I’d love to see Pacman kick that whiny emo bitch Darlene Antonino Custodio out of power.
Benj, I would agree that there seems to be a political dynasty in that area. However, Pacquiao was not the right individual to challenge. Pacquiao would’ve better served himself if he endorsed a candidate and campaigned with that candidate.
I never like to hinder the ambition of any celebrity. But a hint of street smarts coupled with an established management acumen would be good.
Yeah, Manny is on again off again. Maybe when her retires he can run thats what Democracy is for. Whether you support him or not, it is up to you…sounds like democracy. But how long will people get tired of democracy if most folks who run are not so experienced in engineering policy and government? Do they have to be? Is the intention to lead and help people prosper good enough? Yikes, Democracy may have the answer. So far, Democracy is not too far ahead in the people’s scorecard.

Theres no denying the pacman would probably win. But like the topic shows: Help Pacman - dont vote for him. I truly believe he wants to help his people. Its just that, he’s honestly not qualified to do the job and see it through.
What about Vilma Santos etc, Ronald Regan? They’re flukes. All I want is to bring back the honor into the position of public servant. Instead of entertainers running to be leaders, increasing the knife wound to the Philippines’ neck.

Tumulong na lang syang magpagawa o magpakumpuni o magdagdag ng Paaralan or some improvement to his hometown or charity works. Much better.
I couldn’t agree more with the title. Supporting Manny is by simply not voting for him.
I simply see another FPJ in the making: a popular icon being pushed into the world of politics, to serve the selfish interests of other people, to eventually be turned into a hapless puppet, and lose everything in the process (although in this case, I’d prefer death to be out of the equation).
Manny will won the race… better, than Ms Darlene…
