Puppet Regime, Noli De Castro Style
If Gloria can’t have her way, she may have to do a Putinesque style of move come 2010, and this will mean backing Noli De Castro with all her machinery (maybe trickery) so that her reign in power will be uninterrupted. Whether she remains President or not, she clings on to power either way.
Now, the only way to finally get Gloria off our back, put her on trial for crimes against The Filipino People, is to not support Noli De Castro for President. (No to Erap too)
I know this is premature, and I just wanted to put this out there. That however many scenarios we may be thinking of, Gloria’s advisers, including her own masterful brain has probably already thought of it. And unless, we want to be caught by surprise for the antics of our dear president, putting this one on the table isn’t such a bad idea at all.
We’re all thinking of it, it’s been discussed, but I just wanted to make sure we’re all clear on this. Noli De Castro is not a move forward, it is not bringing this country in a new direction, it is not a move towards accountability — A Noli Presidency will be a continuation of The Arroyo Regime.
Talk about a Russian influence. Vodka anyone?

As i mentioned in a comment over at Manolo’s, i believe the opposing camps of the Middle Class, i.e. the Let’s Move on/Let’s Wait for 2010 and the Patalsikin na, Now Na crowd will reunite around a reformist candidate in the mold of Mar Roxas. My hunch though is that elitist/fence-sitter Roxas can still lose to Noli de Castro who has genuine popular appeal or to Ping Lacson, who has a ‘law and order’ image as well as genuinine oppositionist credentials.
