My Official Stand on Charter Change
I’ve had a few wild rants regarding Charter Change, but here’s a perfectly simple stand. Charter Change with regard to the change of government is alright with me, because for the fact of the matter there really isn’t any concrete evidence on both sides of the debate on whether or not which one will work for our country. What I’m less certain of, is that if this Administration has shown us the integrity, honesty, and transparency needed to put my trust in implementing a change from presidential to parliamentary.
The answer is of course a big fat NO. NO. NO! (I hope that was emphatic enough for everyone). Considering the need to twist the constitution in their favor, this Arroyo administration is in need of a mirror so that they can see just exactly what they’ve become. A power hungry group of individuals.
Conclusion: Charter Change only if Arroyo and her Supporters are out…
