More on COMELEC And Their Incompetence
This is yet another post on the stupidity of the current COMELEC. It seems that every day we hear news about just how stupid, idiotic, and downright nasty the current COMELEC administration and officers are. Acting like an extended arm of the current Gloria Arroyo Administration.
Opposition candidate Alan Cayetano has been harassed by the COMELEC actions ever since the campaign season started. All because of his own attack against the first gentleman Mike Arroyo. If this is how politics is going to be played nowadays, with every single government department acting like assassins of the current administration, then by all means lets play.
If they want to get dirty, then fine by me, but all throughout this nasty campaign, the COMELEC has forgotten its solemn duty to protect the vote, instead they have forged ahead with their sinister plans after another. They have let themselves be used by a machinery unlike anything we’ve seen since the Marcos regime, and I for one, including many other Filipinos are becoming sick and tired.
A Garci sequel is being played out in Maguindanao with the ‘Garci boys’ heading the campaign. Bedol and Sumalipao, two of the many horsemen of The Philippine Apocalypse.
Of course, just the like the alternate universe of the current United States Administration, their defense is the stupidity defense. The card most often played is the incompetence card. But just how many times can the COMELEC claim incompetence and mistakes until they admit to any wrongdoing?
Everything to them seems like a political game, but I guess this is what they must think, because if they truly look at themselves in the mirror, they will see the evil that has become of this most prestigious department. This commission that is supposed to watch out for the voters, seemingly is all about watching out for the cheaters.
Of course, they will say that there is no material proof that any cheating has occurred for the last few years or so since the Gloria regime has taken over, but the attempts at the Cayetano candidacy for Senate, the Garci controversy, and the current Maguindanao controversy is almost mind numbingly deafening to the ears of the voters and the Filipino public.
Unlike The COMELEC, the Filipino people do not claim stupidity and incompetence, and because of this, we see right through the plans…
If any COMELEC official is listening, if you still want to do right by the Filipino people, then I urge you to do your job, count the votes properly and bring to justice anyone who would undermine the sanctity of the ballot. Because if you cannot do that, then by all means, stop calling yourself a Filipino. Individuals such as yourself deserve everything that is coming. In the end, your conscience will eat you alive, and the truth will eventually come out.
