This is how powerful the media is. Poor Rene. He has built his name to be considered one of the people in the government who has integrity. And with one malicious allegation from a "scoop-hungry" "journalist" and bloggers like nick, Rene's name, like the the walls of Jericho, fell down. Never mind that there is no evidence that he orchestrated fraud and irregularities during the elections in Mindanao. Never mind that no single individual even complained about those election returns being altered or used for cheating. What matters is that the "journalist" , after tinkering with his cameraman's lenses, had a scoop..and credibility be damned! And that, my fellow readers, is the true voice of the people.
