Election Update: Ricky Vs. Vilma for Batangas
In the past few weeks there has been a slight family feud, or maybe, a family disagreement, as to who will be running for Governor of Batangas. After all was said and done, Ricky Recto, has bowed out of the race, and has decided to let Vilma Santos-Recto run for Governor, while he himself will run for representative instead.
After Vilma decided to run for governor, Ricky took around two weeks to decide. It was probably clear from the start that Ricky had no choice. Vilma probably didn’t have a choice either since she had the opportunity, and if she wanted to move her political career along, then this was the only natural course to take.

3. Ricky and Vilma are of different political parties
4. Both have substantive cases to run for Governor
