Arroyo Accepts Resignation of Defense Secretary Cruz

Well, it’s official. Defense Secretary Avelino Cruz Jr. has submitted his irrevocable resignation to Pres. Arroyo effective Nov. 30. Reluctant as The President may be regarding this resignation, you obviously can’t keep a guy around who doesn’t want to work for you anymore. But, the day really wasn’t all too bad for Madam President. Economic improvement of the nation is still on track, and she also concentrated leading a launch of National Year for Prevention of Child Abuse, Neglect.

One thing that always impresses me with Arroyo, even with all the things that go on around her, she seems to maintain focus and be able to multi-task. You have to admire that. So long Secretary Cruz, and bring on the more important things like Charter Change, and oh yeah the poor, the hungry masses, and of course our economy.
