Pagalungan Maguindanao Election Returns Finally Arrive at COMELEC
No doubt that the death of hero Musa Dimasidsing was because of the lack of respect this current COMELEC has for democracy and its own people. Almost two months after the May 14th elections, The COMELEC finally has within its possession the Election Returns from Pagalungan Maguindanao, the election returns which the Board of Election Inspectors were begging and pleading for COMELEC to receive.
It’s just another example of why the Maguindanao Votes cannot be trusted and why COMELEC itself cannot be trusted.
Everyone in media and even ordinary citizens have known about these Election Returns, COMELEC was even informed of these Election Returns weeks ago, and yet despite all the insistence to have these Election Returns Canvassed, it is only now that the COMELEC has them in their possession. We even wrote about these Election Returns back on May 29th. If these Election Returns have not been switched, then these are probably the only remnants of original documents to come out of Maguindanao.
We shall also note that before Musa Dimasidsing was murdered, other BEI’s were also being coerced to sign a petition saying that the elections were peaceful and credible. For this and many other reasons, I cannot and will not let this issue go. COMELEC’s dirty tricks will not escape the scrutiny and ire of The Filipino People. And because a heroic and noble Filipino Citizen, Musa Dimasidsing, had to die for the sake of Political Power, I will not let this issue go. COMELEC must pay, as I have insisted before, Administrative and Criminal Cases must be filed against all COMELEC officials involved, including, but not limited to, Lintang Bedol and even Abalos himself.
