What other excuse can there be? Abalos is seemingly perplexed and was even surprised that Lintang Bedol was in Manila. In a recent press conference held at the PICC, Abalos expressed his surprise at hearing that there was a “Bedol Sighting” and that the media caught him at the Comelec building instead at the PICC where he is supposed to go.

According to ol’ Mr. reliable, Chairman Abalos, they can’t do anything because there is no arrest warrant. And that the directive they sent for Lintang Bedol’s appearance to explain the 12-0 Maguindanao Vote may not have reached Bedol because they sent it to the province, and since he’s in Manila now, how could he possibly receive the directive?

Well, of course Abalos is right — IF ONLY WE LIVED IN THE STONE AGE!!!!

He’s telling us, that they can’t reach Lintang Bedol either through Cellphone, Telephone, Email, Text, Instant Message, or that Lintang Bedol suddenly does not watch television and know that everyone is looking for him? Bedol was even told that everyone is looking for him, when the media caught him at the Comelec building.

And all the while they are giving out the notion that Lintang Bedol must have not received the directive. Well, of course, Bedol is aware of the directive, because he mentioned it, when he was ambushed at the Comelec building a few days ago, but regurgitated the excuse that he never received the directive.

This can only lead us to the following conclusion,

Lintang Bedol must be homeless, why else could he not have known that everyone is looking for him. And he must also suffer from a disease in which he can only read directives, because apparently his brain cant process the meaning when he only hears the directives coming from Comelec. Maybe the disease is selective deafness.

So, let’s all pray for Lintang Bedol, suffering from selective deafness and being homeless as well. Let’s all pitch in and get him a cellphone, or maybe a written notice from Comelec. We should help the least among us…
