A source of a few of my headaches, Lintang Bedol, will be taken to Manila, this according to an Inquirer.net report, “Cops to bring Bedol to Manila after arrest”. According to the article Chief Superintendent Joel Goltiao has said that Bedol is under tight security and that he did not resist arrest. Furthermore, the disgraceful Election Officer is having problems with high blood pressure and that he is also being attended to by a doctor.

They say that Bedol could be in Manila as early as later today.

I really don’t see why Lintang Bedol is so worried that his blood pressure is so high. I mean, I still don’t think the Comelec will even do anything about Bedol. Considering the fact that if they make him the fall guy, who’s to say that Mr. Lintang Bedol won’t speak out and divulge who else is involved with the possible Maguindanao Rigged Election.

But, maybe he should be worried. There have been higher ranking officials in the past who have been sacrificed in order to hide illegality in government, maybe that’s why Bedol had some handguns as well as machine guns with him. At this point, I’m not going to be satisfied until the true 12th placer, Koko Pimentel, is proclaimed the newest Senator of the land.

Another thing that would make me a bit more accepting is if that the entire Comelec hierarchy resigns, Abalos included. After resignation, investigations should be made and hopefully administrative and even criminal cases filed. These scumbags need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Let’s start with Lintang Bedol.
