Update On The Maguindanao Votes
Today, Comelec, including Chairman Abalos will be going on their field trip to Maguindanao. Trying to make it look to us as if they are doing something about the Maguindanao Election that has been wrought with anomalies, reports of poll fraud, and a result that is almost as believable as a justified jihad.
As I’ve been telling everyone, Comelec probably moved the whole hearing to last Friday, to my assumption, so as to make the news of Maguindanao fly under the radar. Comelec declared no failure of election in Maguindanao because local officials had already been proclaimed.
On Friday we had news overload on the Estrada trial and the Trillanes proclamation, so naturally the Maguindanao problem went under the radar.
No local officials showed up from Maguindanao on Friday, Lintang Bedol once again never showed up. And apparently Comelec can afford a special election, but they can’t afford 66 plane tickets to Manila.
Because of “time” and “money”, the local officials never made it to Manila with their so called “documents” that would make canvassing possible. Their main excuse was that the plane tickets to Manila would be too expensive for Comelec, and that they didn’t have the time.
So, now the Comelec top brass is on a Field Trip to Maguindanao, over 1 month after the May 14th elections, looking for documents, that will probably end up being fraudulent.
And yet, they don’t see anything wrong with this. As if we can just accept their incompetence, and blatant attempts to cheat the damn electorate of their votes.
Theirs just been too much that The Comelec has and hasn’t done. There have been too much anomalies. There just has been too much disregard and disrespect for our elections.
Right now, Bedol should have an arrest warrant against him for his lack of respect to even show up before the Comelec.
Right now, The Comelec should be seting aside the Maguindanao votes. And right now, the local officials of Maguindanao should be in Manila, instead of having Comelec go to Maguindanao to procure these “documents”. I wonder if the election operators have been working overtime, just to create these “documents”.
A lot of smoke, too much crap, and not enough leadership, transparency and honesty.
