Congratulations To Bogo City!
A big congratulations to Bogo City, as residents celebrated the proclamation of their conversion into a city. The newest city of Cebu. I’ve been there many times, and as a Cebuano, I proudly raise my glass and toast to a bright future ahead of the people of Bogo City.
The proclamation came at around 10 p.m. last night after the counting of votes, and after the citizens had voted on the issue through a plebiscite.
This will mean a bigger budget for the city, a new way to market the city, as well as many of us needing to update our Philippine Maps 
Some businessmen, including a few friends that I talked to weren’t all too happy because of possible increases in their tax burden, but I haven’t studied their complaint. I don’t doubt that they’re probably right, but I’m sure it won’t be that big of a burden.
Although I am San Remigio, Cebu, Philippines but my routes of Father Side from Guadalupe and Dakit.
I am congratulating Bogo residents for being a Bogo City.

Congratulations Bogo City and Mayor Celestino Martinez Jr. and all its officials officials for a job well done. May the Lord Jesus will bless and prosper our beloved city. Though I’m miles away from home but my heart is still with the people of Bogo most especially the bungtoranons. I’m excited to go for vacation and see the beauty and transformation of my town. I feel certain that the conversion again of Bogo to a City by the Supreme Court will be one of the greatest achievements by the GMA administration and the present Bogo City administration. Is is fact conclusive that the officials of Bogo City are not sleeping. They are working together for the better future of Bogo City. The infrastructure development of the city will also redound to the development of the a-joining municipalities like San Remigio, Medelllen, Daan Bantayan and Tabogon. Although I am now a permanent resident in Iligan City and yet I am so concerned to the progress of Bogo because I live in Bogo for almost a decade as a student of the prestigious institution of learning, the Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges, wherein I fall in love to one of the beautiful women, a schoolmate of mine, that I cannot forget in this life time. If there is life after death, as I believe there is, I will love that love for all eternity. As Bogo City progresses into a highly urbanized city in the future in northern Cebu, I should also be happy and will always will as long as I live to see her and her family progressing in tandem with their city. God Bless Bogo and the Bogohanon.
Komusta sa tanang Bogohanon. Sa tanang kaliwat ug (Batal)and Tepait I am searching for my Family Tree. Ang akong great grandparents sa akong mama’s father side ay sila si Pablo Tepait ug Menesia Monteso. Mao ra nay akong nahibaw an about them. My grandfather was one of their children the late Mamerto “Mentong” Monteso Tepait. Papa Mentong as I called him was married to my grandmother the late Valentina (Abao) Tepait wa ko mahibawo kon pila kabuok ang iyang mga igsoon or their respected names. So, kon duna kamoy input bahin niini please let me know. My late mother Mama Nesia was one of their children.
His Excellency President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III, dili unta niya makalimtan ang Bogo City, to give more helps and improvements since Bogo City is the commercial center in Northern Cebu or the whole Cebu province 4th Congressional District.
