Malu Fernandez and Blogging As A Slacker Job
Damn that Malu Fernandez and her acerbic wit. I have again received a deluge of emails regarding her worthless articles in Manila Standard Today. What — did her editors tell her to write another stupid article in order to raise their traffic to something even remotely close to Inquirer.net? Face it, Malu Fernandez is nothing. Apparently she wrote a recent article pointing to her opinion that that blogging is a slacker job. There’s more in the article, but really, do we want to read more kindergarten-style writing?
I no longer have the patience to read any of her articles, I’ve boycotted Manila Standard Today for even keeping her on as a writer. They should be ashamed of themselves, and Malu Fernandez, for the love of all that is decent, should just fade into her meaningless and “fabulous” life.
Trust me, when I say this, there’s more “me, me, me, fabulous, me” in any of her articles rather than what the actual title implies. If you really want an in depth on blogging and journalism, Manila Standard is not the place to look for that kind of information, and Malu Fernandez is certainly not the “journalist-wannabe” to read in this arena.
Furthermore, if blogging is a slacker job, then Malu Fernandez as a column writer has the position of a sub-slacker job.
No more comments from me, I’m finished with Malu Fernandez and Manila Sub-Standard, The boycott continues.

I wrote two posts about her this time, which is fair enough, since I didn’t deal with her previously.
