I’m sick and tired of hearing Brian Gorrell’s name come up during conversation. I’m sick and tired that he’s even mentioned in the influential blogs, because he’s not, he’s just a damn fad. I feel sorry for him, for having been so gullible and falling for DJ Montano, and losing all his money and all. But, when he starts writing about stuff out of his realm of his “problem” with DJ Montano, it just gets me all riled up.

I have sympathy for the guy, obviously he was hurt by the situation, but considering the amount of online traffic that he’s receiving, and the advertisement on his site, I sincerely hope that he stops when he has recovered the money that was stolen.

Why am I so pissed off? Because in his latest post (I refuse to link to him), “More Australians murdered in The Philippines”, he makes it seem that Australians are being hunted in The Philippines. When I think now of Happy Slip as a great Ambassador for The Philippines, the opposite is my thought with regards to Brian Gorrell.

And not only for The Philippines, but even the blogging world. Yes, it has opened up blogging to the consciousness of more Filipinos, but there is a price to pay for that negative publicity.

And instead of focusing on the aspect of his life with DJ Montano, he has to take down the whole damn country to prove his damn point. I’m pissed!

He goes on to say in his post,

I’m not quite sure why so many Australians are murdered in the Philippines. I think we’re just way too gullible. There have been literally dozens of us murdered there. This particular murder is HUGE news here. And there have been many, many other Australians killed in the Philippines. And it always makes huge news of course.

So, should we start counting murders of Filipinos in Australia, are we doing a tally here? Where does he go off making it sound like The Philippines has become the hunting ground for Australians. We have our own damn problems with scumbags killing bank employees, now we also have to worry about Australian bloggers pointing out the problem of other killings. Like Australians are supposed to be more important?

Where the hell is his solution? He just wants to point this situation out, because in the end, the story eventually goes back to his damn selfish self, and I will quote again,

And the majority of murders take place the DAY AFTER LARGE MONEY TRANSFERS. Co incidence? I don’t think so. Murder for money. I’m glad I’m alive. Because DJ stole much much more money from me. I guess I should be happy to be here. Celine told me once that she stopped DJ from ‘getting rid of me’. What did you mean by that Celine? Was DJ going to have ME murdered Celine? Thats what we’ve heard Celine… MANY TIMES!

Could he not have just said, DJ tried to have me murdered?

In any case, I am seriously contemplating the age old saying, birds of the same feathers flock together.. There are no saints in Brian Gorrell’s and DJ Montano’s story, only a story of who outsmarted who, who got the jump on the other first, and who got swindled.

But, I support Brian Gorrell’s cause to shed light into the socialite world of Manila, and all their shenanigans, but let him shed light now, today, without having to go into long posts about things that aren’t even remotely related to his situation. Let him shed light, recover his money, then let’s all sigh with relief that Manila’s finest has been exposed for their rotten lifestyle, and let’s all bid Brian Gorrell a farewell.

Honestly, screw Brian Gorrell, let him have the limelight now, but I’m done, he’s fading fast. We know what DJ Montano is like now, we get the message. DJ Montano has been exposed, and if Brian Gorrell doesn’t stop with his tirade, and never ending rhetoric, same old post with the same message, then he deserves the utter disrespect that I am clearly showing him right now.
