On Monday I asked why Comelec was having a closed door session with regards to the Maguindanao inquiry. Especially with regards to Lintang Bedol, who has been the most annoying election officer this election season. If Comelec wants to show transparency, then let the nation hear what these scumbags have to say.

But on Monday, despite the closed door session, the public still received a “shock”, although I wasn’t surprised at all. Lintang Bedol said that the election documents were lost, the same election documents that he took from municipal election officers so that he could have them for safekeeping, only to “leave them in his unlocked office” and have “the guard go home”.. What the hell kind of safeguarding is that?

And another thing that I’m pissed off about, although there are too many to mention at this point, but I’ll stick with this one, why the hell did they have to wait until Friday to continue the questioning?

In a recent Malaya report,

COMELEC Commissioner Nico-demo Ferrer who also heads Task Force Maguindanao yesterday said it will premature to say if provincial election supervisor Lintang Bedol can be charged with negligence over the “lost” municipal certificates of canvass and municipal statement of votes (SOVs).

“Let’s see first why he lost it. It’s very hard to conclude right now. My work kasi depends on the documents,” Ferrer said.

They mean to tell us that Bedol told them the documents were lost, and they didn’t ask him anything else??? What did they do for the rest of the “closed door session”, play poker? This is why I hate closed door sessions, we are forced to take the word of these officials.

But Lintang Bedol told us why they were lost, because he took the documents for “safekeeping”.

And Mr. Ferrer (he doesn’t deserve to be called chairman anymore), he’s telling us that they have to wait until Friday to push through with this investigation? What the hell were they doing on Tuesday and Wednesday? No canvassing and no damn investigation. Maybe just a little bit more time to come up with better alibis. What, they couldn’t have made sure to have all the election officials in on Monday? Give us a break, it’s been a month since the election! I could call up my cousin from the province, and he could be in Manila by the next day.

Stupid, just plain stupid, and annoying. All of them. The whole bunch of ‘em!!!

But when Friday comes, I demand, an open session, let us hear the stupid excuses that will spew out of Lintang Bedol. And why his idea of safeguarding the documents is to “leave them in his unlocked office” and have “the guard go home”.
