The Lozada Saga Continues, Thankfully
After the alleged abduction of key witness Rodolfo “Jun” Lozada, Jr. in the scrapped $329 million NBN deal, I thought for a moment that this is definitely a time in this Administration that anyone can be made to disappear. Anyone.
As Jun Lozada read from a written statement soon after he surfaced early this morning, he revealed that indeed Abalos and The First Gentleman were involved in the anomalous NBN deal. This is not new information, but it is first hand information, a corroboration that could ultimately have some traction in dethroning the queen.
The Lozada Revelation
Lozada’s revelations is another insight into an administration that we already know and distrust. You know you’ve had a hard week, when priests and nuns have to surround you for your own protection. My heart bleeds for such a man, knowing there is more to come, his family’s safety at stake, his own safety at stake, and now the burden of having to go in front of The Senate, it is a time for him to draw strength and know that the truth shall set him free, and it may also be understood that this truth could very well spell the end of a Presidency.
Un”razonable” Razon
Lozada said he was abducted. Director General Avelino Razon of the Philippine National Police begs to differ.
New word for the year. Razon, n. A contradiction meant to cover up a lie
All joking aside, this is as if you or I were to be abducted. This incident shows us once again, that without a true check and balance against this Administration as well as the Lower House that it controls, our democracy will crumble before our very own eyes.
The only difference with this Administration now and The Abu Sayyaf, is that the Government has yet to provide a video with a blind folded kidnapped individual kneeling and with armed masked men standing behind threatening his life. Too far you say? Think again, as you see political killings after one another pile up during the reign of this Administration.
Razon better get his act straight, as well as his story straight. Each and every Lozada has repeatedly said that no such request for Jun Lozada’s protection was made. It was truly an abduction. And with the statements he made, each contradicting one another, the Senate will no doubt have yet another reason to mark the Lozada abduction as an attempted cover-up.
We wait until Friday as The Senate will start to probe the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Lozada and also continue into a formal testimony of Jun Lozada as to what he knows of the NBN deal, Abalos’ and First Gentleman’s involvement. As with Nixon, maybe it will be a cover-up that will actually seal the fate of the President.

Sir,
Sayang medyo under the weather po ako ngayon. Dapat andun ako sa Senate ngayon…manonood. Dahil, una - history yung testimony ni Lozada. Pangalawa - andun si Chiz
Laugh trip si Lozada. Na-kidnap na at lahat, intact pa rin ang sense of humor.
i think jun lozada is really telling the truth to stop the corruption here in the philippines, lets support him!!!
c’mon man, kahit sino ang maupo sa malacanang, corrupt din yan later on.sa mga oposisyon:huwag kayong magmalinis, bwitre din kayo..kahit sa simbahan, maraming corrupt…..aminin,baka kidlatin kayo ni lord.
