Oh my La Jolla!
I think I’m the only Filipino in the U.S that doesn’t live in California. Every year, I have to take a plane ride just to see my entire family in the San Diego area.
The San Diego area is so beautiful, there’s some nice Filipino families out there that are as concerned with what’s happening in The Philippines as the guy who’s actually in The Philippines. I salute these Filipinos that are so far away from their homeland, but sacrifice for the sake of their family.
But, why sacrifice right? When you can work and remit your hard earned cash to The Philippines, while living a nice life here in The U.S.
As the saying goes, home is where the heart is.
Right now, with the Real Estate market at a nice bottom, it’s so affordable to find your dream home. And if you’re like me and you like the warm weather that reminds you of The Philippines, then San Diego is the place for you.
My friend informed me of a real nice area in San Diego that not so many people know about it. Quite frankly, I didn’t even know about it. Where is it?… La Jolla!
No, that’s not a signal to go bull fighting. That’s an actual place.
La Jolla boasts one of California’s most beautiful coastlines and the perfect mix of hillside to capitalize on the view. But is La Jolla all the same?
The simple answer is yes. It’s all beautiful, sun-soaked most of the year, clean and safe.
Right now, La Jolla real estate is one of the best places to purchase that dream home. I don’t know if there are a lot of Filipinos in that area, but I’ll have to ask my friend about that. My grandmother is in the Los Angeles area, and she was thinking of moving, I don’t know if she knows about this area yet.
