As Filipinos we have to just accept that we have flat noses. I’ve never really thought twice about my nose before and just accepted that it is what it is… FLAT…
But as you know, the world isn’t flat, and your nose doesn’t have to be flat either. Thanks to the many advancements in cosmetic surgery. There are procedures being done all over the world. From breast reductions in Los Angeles.. Face lifts in New York.. Rhinoplasty in New Jersey.. and even Breast enlargements in Manila.. And now, rhinoplasty is just one of the many procedures that will help you achieve that perfect looking nose.

I disagree with you comment that flat nose should be accepted “but…” in my disappointment! You were trying to promote insensibility by promoting a notion that higher nose is best to nothing. Why cant you accept the truth of who you are and not to become. Likewise, you might be wondering why you are filipino and sorry for your fate that were born under this race.
You should be lucky that you were not born with facial deformity nor mental disability, that has no ability to think any preference about promoting western physical endowement. I suggest for you to be happy of what you have and what you are. Keep your misfortune as misfit of your ignonimous “insensibility”. Nonetheless, your ignorance wouldnt help promoting justice for the rest of the flat noses people. So, be kind to your own, okay?
I think that it’s true that anyone who doesn’t have a facial deformity or mental disability should be thankful that they don’t have these conditions but I also think that if one wants to get get cosmetic surgery that is his or her decision. If it makes someone feel better about themselves for lack of self confidence then that’s fine. I think minimal cosmetic surgery is okay but when it becomes excessive that’s when it is a problem. It really depends on the individual’s case.
I decided not to get my nose fixed cause a person warned me that I shouldn’t get rhinoplasty. I decided to leave my nose average looking and a little bit flat so I followed people’s advices and also my parents too. Thank the lord I didn’t get colon cancer. I am by the way Mestizo but chinese looking I don’t care what I look like anymore. I have eyelids in the sides shown in my eyes but you know.

Why do all Asian girls want to have higher noses? Flat noses are cute and make the eyes much more pronounced. Flat noses are not ugly but getting surgery and wasting medical resources and zour own health on an unnecessary operation is!

I really don’t understand why everyone aches for a tall nose. Getting a bridge doesn’t guarantee you beauty… there are many noses with bridges that look absolutely terrible. It all depends what’s right for your face. If you choose to get this procedure done, that’s totally your choice. Personally, I think that having flat noses shouldn’t be considered unattractive and it’s really a shame how affecting it is to many nowadays. You should be proud of who you are- you’re Filipinos, not Caucasian. Diversity calls for a diverse range of features and it sucks how the “Caucasian face” is at the forefront of beauty.
I don’t agree with your opinion AT ALL, there is no need for anyone to be ashamed of what you people call “flat noses.” I am a Filipino-American & my nose is different from all of my white friends, & upon many occasion, my best friend & boyfriend call to notice my Filipino nose. What do I say? That I AM PROUD OF IT!!! There is no pressure for me to be or act like anything but what I am, and being Filipino makes me beautiful in more than my nose, it’s my hertitage, my dark features, and everything else Filipino. & I LOVE IT. To encourage surgery is a discouragement to everyone who reads this. & it is amazingly FUNNY how all over the Philippines, there are ads for skin lightener, COME ON! While Filipinos are using skin lightener, Americans are using tanning beds obsessively. I say that as a country, Filipinos need to be proud of who they are, and not JOIN everyone else! Just be happy with yourself, embrace your heritage, AND your nose!! Congrats to those who have already done so, you’re making the Phillipines a better place and the Filipinos a better race!
