The Year of The Pig

It’s the Year of The Pig in the Chinese Calendar, and I’m sure Filipinos around the world celebrated The New Year with Lechon. Let us take this moment to pay our respects to the hundreds, maybe even thousands of delicious and scrumptious little pigs out there who gave their lives for the sake of our need to feed =)

Also in other New Year Celebration news, and unfortunately despite the fair warnings when it came to Fireworks, there were still numerous injuries and even some deaths.
But, still I’m very much hopeful that 2007 will be a good year for us Filipinos. Politics aside, the only thing I wish for our country is economic prosperity, good health for our Kababayans, and the kindness of mother nature to spare us any major natural disasters.
