The Editor Not Chief of Filipino Voices
After much debate, mostly with myself, and a promise that I had to keep, here is a photo of me, Nick, writer of Tingog.com, The Editor not Chief of Filipino Voices. As I said in a previous entry, I’m 27 years old, yet if it’s any consolation, since many have been shocked at just how young I am, that I do feel as if I am old at heart.
In all honesty, I’m not sure when this photo was taken, I’m hoping that it was this year, but if it’s not, don’t fret, I have looked like this for years now.
I hope the photo will suffice, as for now, if you wish for more photos, then you’re out of luck, this was the only photo I could find in the hard drive. The other photo, which I won’t show, because I’m devouring a gourmet pizza, which, trust me, is nowhere as good as Sbarro’s Pizza.

Hello Nick,
Must say, that after this discovery, I’m impressed all the more by the persona; your initiatives, the depth and serious of your work are worthy of admiration
You join the rank of the new blood that this country needs. You, cvj, J (of the nutbox) and a lot more whom I had the honour of meeting in various blogs do your country and young humankind proud.
Keep up the good work.
Wow you are a handsome man! No kidding. Finally a photo attached to the voice behind tingog.com. Thanks for sharing.
gorgeous, smart, kind-hearted and patriotic. what else can the filipino people ask for?
thank you for sharing your age and photo, nick. beyond the age and the looks is something more admirable — the use of talent for a higher purpose — service of country and fellowmen. more power to you and all that you represent!
Hey, Nick!
You’re a handsome ‘devil’ huh! Makes an oldie like me even produer to be with FV, working with someone who a she-male friend would describe as “Papa-ble.”
Warmest felicitations, Dude
nakssss nick!!!
you’re really a “papable”!! i waited for this moment!!! i can finally soundly sleep at night.. heheheh..
plsssssss post???
Much obliged, and thank you for the kind words. As hard a decision as it was for me to do this, I think that it may be worth it. In the end, the contradiction of publicly writing and keeping myself private has had the affect of readers being reluctant to share more of themselves, and of their opinions.

regarding being Papa-ble, that’s a new term for me.. Anyway, thank you RJ, Noemi, Ding, Anna, and reese..
I bet you’re popular with the ladies.
But seriously, you have everything: the brains, the personality, and the charms. Not to mention that it takes amazing amount of patience to be able to keep cool - which you always do- despite getting a lot of aberrants here and in FilipinoVoices.
My Internet connection’s been down for quite sometime and missed a lot of your (and FV’s) posts.
But man, you’re good-looking. Hahaha.
You sure you’re 27? I’m 20, but I look older than you. Hehehe.
@J, welcome back to the net… Good looks is in the eye of the beholder, and I guess, I’m blushing with all the compliments.. looks can fade, but the beauty and passion with which I have for my nation, I hope that comes across even more…

And yes, I have kinda good genes that way.. Suffice it to say, I get carded all the time…
