Happy 1st Birthday to Tingog.com!
It seems like only yesterday, the first blog post at Tingog.com was written, and we took to cyberspace in the hopes of Changing The Philippines. This date, September 1, 2006, exactly one year ago, we started with a goal in mind, and that was to make a difference. We’ve had our ups and our downs, swerved from left and sometimes to the right.
And I think, with the help of our readers and fellow bloggers, we are continuing to take up that challenge of making a difference and meeting it head on.
I don’t exactly know what to wish for, since it’s not me who’s having the birthday.
But if a blog could talk, maybe Tingog.com would say,
Thank you to everyone who has read the articles and posts, thank you to all those who have left their comments and shared their views. I would like to thank the bloggers who found me worthwhile so that they would link to me. I would like to thank my creator, Nick, for his passion in writing about Philippine Politics and the issues that face The Filipinos.
Sana, next year, meron naman upgrade si Nick, para mas mabilis ang takbo ko.
And to Tingog.com I owe a lot. This is just the beginning, may our passion to serve The Filipino people, by bringing to light the important issues of the day, be steadfast as we move forward. When we can justifiably say that we are making a difference and we are indeed changing The Philippines!
In the coming days, there will be some important announcements, thank yous, and articles. Stay tuned, but today, join me in celebrating this young blog’s Birthday, may Tingog.com have many more birthdays to come…

Kudos to you Nick!!!!! just happened to read one of your article and it’s really good. However, i wish you have it translated in our National Language, unless your web site only caters to Foreigners. Nevertheless, it is still commendable.
This is late but I will bookmark your web site and will continue to visit it regularly. Being away from the Philippines, some of these articles served as a “Wake-Up Call” to our selfishness sometimes.
